    Please explain how you know this is fact with this particular person. I'm guessing you did a pregnancy test as well as all hormonal tests on the OP to be so sure as to give the response you did.

    Exactly what is your question? Are you asking that- in the middle of the period if you had sex then are you going to get pregnant or not, Or are you asking that If you got pregnant after having sex on your periods, whether your period can stop or not.! Which one are you asking?

    I would say, During your periods, if you had sex then some how you got pregnant (as you have mentioned above), then I don't think so the period will stop suddenly. But as others have mentioned, if you want to know whether you conceived or not because of that sex, you probably have to wait for a week or two then you take those pregnancy test, and again after a week or two take another test. Then you'll probably know.

    It most certainly does NOT occur at that point of a cycle for a large percentage of women. Women are VERY inconsistent from one to the next as a group as to when ovulation occurs in their cycle.

    And pregnancy can and does occur outside of that window... its only more likely during it. Some women have gotten pergnant DURING their period.
