If your parents know you are sexually active WHY are you asking strangers if you are pregnant if you should have an abortion?

Some 14 yr olds believe their parents don't know much about anything and that they aren't even very smart. And some of them are right. Most 14 yr olds however do have parents who know more than they did when they were 14 and most of them would know how to help their child make life changing decisions better than the average stranger. Unless your parents have totally freaked out because you ARE pregnant, I suggest you have this talk with them.

After I retired from plumbing I got into Women's Rights and volunteered as a escort at a local abortion clinic. After three years I was put on staff as head of security and chief escort where I worked for another 13 years. I was the first person the girls saw and talked to before they entered the clinic and I heard their stories.. Anti-abortion protesters only know what they're told from the pulpit. What they fail to realize is that every storie's different. 14 is just a baby herself. Get a doctors opinion about how safe giving birth would be and then talk it over with Dad and Mom. Because they will be the ones raising the child. And if they agree that you should have a abortion do not let anyone put you on a guilt trip this should be between you and your family. Do not let outside opinion cloud your judgement. Whether you decide to give birth or terminate the pregnancy it should be contained within the family. Good luck in whatever you decide.

I think she's saying that she hasn't had a period in 45 days but the pregnancy tests that she's taken are negative so why has she not gotten her period?

Unfortunately you will just have to wait a couple more weeks, as your doctor suggested. Sorry I can't tell you more.

I'm really not sure what your asking but I'll give it a shot.

A pregnancy blood test measures the exact amount of the pregnancy hormone, human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in your bloodstream.

A blood test can also an determine pregnancy within 7-12 days of possible conception.

If you want a blood test see your doctor, go to your local walk-in clinic or even the ER.

    Good luck.

OK I took one today but they are going to ship it to the clinic tomorrow and I had 5 negative urine test and do you possible think that the blood test could come out positive just give your opinion

    Yes it is possible.

It's possible that the urine tests you took were expired. It is possible that you waited too long to view your results. It is possible that you took your pregnancy test incorrectly.

Above all it is possible that you took the urine test too soon. As said above blood test can determine pregnancy within 7-12 days of possible conception.

Then perhaps you are not, and there are other medical issues causing your problem.
Sounds like time to visit the doctor

Do you even ask your doctors questions?

    How about asking him:
•Is it possible I am taking the urine test too soon?
•Can I take a blood test since they can determine pregnancies sooner?
•If my blood tests come out negative for pregnancy what other things can contribute to my period being late?
•When should I take the next urine test?

You need to ask your doctors questions!

Your period may be going to start soon. It is not uncommon to have irregular cycles during your teens and that may be all that is happening.
This is likely why your doctor suggested waiting a bit longer to see if your period is still not showing up and test again at that time.

OK and after 60days if it doesn't come on what do I do and I took a blood test and that was negative so it could be something else

It could be just that your cycles are irregular... as they are for some women. It may change as you get older, your doctor may decide to prescribe a birth control pill to help regulate it... although unless there were an actual medical issue there really is no need at this point, they may do another blood test... hopefully a quantitative one to be sure you are not pregnant and the testing before was just too early, they may decide to do some hormone testing to see if there is a medical reason as to why you aren't having them... perhaps a thyroid issue for example.

As you can see, there are a number of possibilities as to the reason. If it doesn't show up, see your doctor again and discuss it with him/her.
