Baby son has very small penis
Hi there, my 16month old sons' penis is so tiny that when not 'erect' it is completely withdrawn into his body, and when 'erect' is only 1cm long. I already get sly comments from people when I change his nappy or when he is bathed, and I am terrified how this will effect him when he is older and more sensitive about his penis. Is there ANYTHING I can do to help him? Apart from telling him it will be fine when it needs to be..? He is circumcised and the specialist dotor said all was fine when he did the operation.

There are so many many reasons to be concerned about when you have a young one. You haven't even got to most of them yet. I wouldn't worry about his small penis, he is only l6 months. Old and as he grows, so will everything else. Anyway, when he is older he will not want you getting anywhere near involved in discussing his penis size. Even if he does stay small, as you say, it will not be your concern when his 2l, it will be his.

Doc explaind that if your baby has a fat pad above pubic bone covers they penis. Push up on the fat pad and out will pop penis. Fortunatly I did not have this problem with my son since he is very skinny

First of all you baby won't Erect its not physically possible, and the reason him having sucha small penis is because its natural.. when he gets older you will notice it will get a little bigger but it will start growing when he reaches the age of about 10. I hope this is helped you. Good luck..

I am sorry, something a little "sick" sounding of someone measuring their child's penis.

If there is medical concern talk to a doctor,

    Incorrect.

However, there may actually be a real concern for the original poster, there is a physical state called micropenis

See here Micropenis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The doctor/urologist may be the next visit to consider..
    Cheers
