    Hello Ashley,

A cat has what is known as a 'third eye'. This is to help protect the eye from dryness and damage.

Normally it is not noticeable but if the third eye is showing it often means there is something not quite right with the cat and a visit to the vet is advised.

This is not always the case and a perfectly healthy and happy cat occasionally shows part of its third eye.

There is also another possibility. Your pet may be showing signs of a cataract forming.

My advise is to take him to your vet and let him/her examine your pet to see if there is a problem.

    Good luck.

I would take the cat to the vet because it sounds like its going blind.
