Unique pet names for a kitten
Hi I'm new. I was looking for pet names when I found this site. I was wondering if anyone had any or could come up with any ideas on pet names for a cat, with ice cream being the topic, that are unique, that you wouldn't mind me considering for my new kitten. She is calico with short hair.
I've kind of gotten known for naming my animals by topics... LOL... It's fun...
I have 2 other cats Blizzard and Blast (cats were named after ice cream drinks/shakes), I also have 2 dogs Kiwi and Mango who obviously were named after fruit.
    Thanks,
    Ann

My dogs are called Becks (after Beckham) and Rudi (after Ruud Van Nistleroy)
As my dad is football crazy.
But lately Rudi the jack russell seems to be itching a lot, so I've taken to calling him Peewee Fleabag! To be honest, he comes to anything as long as you call it in a high pitched voice.
What is it about pets that makes us go a bit loopy?

God knows actually Lianne20 why we do it.
But I'm a total nut job with my two cats.. especially the way I speak to them and the names I invent each day, I voice I use when I call them..
    Crazy lol

Just goes to show how "abnormal" many of us are. Or maybe we are the normal ones (spooky)

When my daughter was about 3 years old, we got a new white kitten. We told her that she could name the kitten, and suggested that she think of something white. From that day on, the cat was called Bathtub.

Well lets see... I chose a theme for my two indoor cats their names are Prince and Penelope, can you guess the theme? They act like royality also, they own the house.

I have an outdoor cat that my son and I couldn't agree on the name, he wanted Uncle Cracker and I suggested Cracker Jack, so guess what the name is? Yes... Cracker.

I have a white rabbit named Duke, and a black lab named TJ.

Cute Story though, whe had a fish once, a betta (?) You know the kind that are in a vase with a peace lilly? Any way it was blue, and my son didn't know what to name it so he came up with "Blue Swimming Around the World" NO LIE! :D Got to Love Kids

I'll bet that love4animals' kitty is a female. I believe that tortise shell and calico cats only come in the female variety.

Speaking of tortise shell kitties, my cat gave birth to a tortise shell and others. The mom carried the kittens all over to keep them away from my German Shepherd (who loved cats). Apparently the skin on the back of the tortise shell's neck was broken from all of the trips in mom's jaws. Unnoticed by all, flies had laid eggs in the wound. When someone noticed fly larvae crawling in the wound they were promptly removed and dressing applied. Henceforth that cat was called "Wormy". Another cat who would stick her posterior in people's faces was called "Rosebud".

My favorite was "Kato", named after the man-servant in the Pink Panther films, because he would attack his master from hidden places. Kato was a black 1/2 Siamese, with the distinctive voice, who gave me 17 years of joy. He has been replaced by K-2 and Minh, sisters now about 3 years old, who are routinely abused by their 10 pound Yorkie named Charlie.

Critters give you more bang for the buck enjoyment than anything.

Glad I saw this post on here and don't know why I didn't ask on here also.

I've been trying to think of a name for my new puppy since I've had him (about 4 weeks now). I just call him baby dog. I've been kind of calling him Samson from the cartoon The Venture Brothers... Brock samson, if anyone is even familiar with it.

I want him to have a strong name. Something that has meaning. That's why I have waited so long to choose a name I wanted something that would fit him. Him being a puppy though, the only thing that fits him at this stage is silly, just being a puppy. I LOVE how so many people have stories behind the names. I believe only one of my animals has a semi story - Athena.

He is a show dog so I need to think of one of those catchy long "official" names. He still isn't registered because I can't think of a name. He needs to get in the show ring already! I want "First" in the official name. If anyone has any ideas that would be awesome! I saw so many great names named. So go for it. :D
Here is the character for help.

My cat had kittens in July. My Mom took one and we wound up naming her C'mere, because she hides all the time so all we wind up saying to her is C'mere and she responds by meowiing.
