I like Spot too.
Way too cute.
Every cat, I've known run away. Most dogs either like me or bark at me.
Kat-chup :D
Instant Rimshot
Lol Bear... :p
Up to now, I have seen no one eat cats... but I've seen dog meat in a dish, ugh :(
The kitten are really growing now :)
They're all so cute!
I like Spot - very pretty. Though I wouldn't want to actually have a long-haired cat.
I'm actually partial to orange ones, but was never able to look at the orange cats after my last one died.
if spot's anything like the last Maine coon I had, then he'll be fairly low maintenance. Maine coons have naturally tangle-free fur, and don't really shed any more than any other cat.
I've never really had a preference for one color or another. Black cats seem to like me, though. Almost half the cats I've lived with throughout my life have been black. Never once have any of them brought me bad luck ^_~
We rescued a 6 m/o Maine Coon kitten (and his little two brothers and his mom) from our back yard. It was funny -- I was trying to round up the two babies and get them into a cat carrier to bring inside, and the older brother just walked into the carrier and sat there, like "Let's go." We kept him and found homes for the others. He is a total delight, happy-go-lucky, thick non-tangling fur, all black except for a white bib, has a gorgeous profile, and has adopted my autistic son as his person. Yes, Maine Coons are definitely keepers!
Then you'll be happy to know my one cat is black. He's never brought me bad luck, but he has been difficult to find at times.
I have a nightlight BECAUSE I have a black cat. After tripping over her every night for the first week I lived here, I bought the nightlight. The kittens love it. They sit next to it and hug the bulb. Don't know why, but since it doesn't hurt them any, I let them.
Before I bought a house, I was renting a townhouse and my bedroom/bath were upstairs. The stairs were dark and this cat loved to sit on the top step. I'm surprised I never actually tripped over him and killed myself, but what would happen is that I'd catch my foot on him and he'd get kicked down the stairs. He doesn't learn lessons very well though.
The stairs I have now lead to the basement but he doesn't sit on them. If I go into the basement, he'll maybe sit on the landing and wait for me, but I can easily see him there. At night I can't see him at all. He could be on the floor right in front of me and I'd never see him. I only know he's in bed if I feel or hear him.
it's a little late, but here's this week's pictures ^_^

oh, and I have very good news. They seem to have FINALLY gotten the hang of using the litter box. There haven't been any little poopy messes on my floor in a couple days. I've caught a couple of them peeing on my floor, but I think that'll fix itself soon, too. Now that they're not pooping on my floor, I have high hopes that they'll stop peeing on it, too.
now, if I could just get them to stop dumping their water and landing in the food dish when they jump out of the window.
Alty cat is filling out nicely.
I love the coloring on her paws.
I'd take her in a heart beat, and of course I'd keep the name. :)
Spot is definitely the handsomest one of the lot -- and he knows how to pose in a casual Very Important catlike way.
They all are so cute, but growing up much too fast. Who is male, and who is female?
