    2000 Dodge Durango overheating
I recently went out of town and on the way home, my car overheated forcing me to pull over. When I turned the car off, the radiotor was shaking very bad like it was out of water but when I checked it was full. I then was told that it might have been the thermostat. I replaced the thermostat, sensor, waterpump, had the radiator flushed, replaced the raditor cap, replaced the belt, checked all the fuses, and after all of that I am still having the same problem. I did notice that the radiator fan fuse was fine but where you insert it was kind of melted. The cooling fan is also not turning on so I had that checked and everything works its just not turning on for some reason. If anybody has any clue what might be wrong please let me know! Thanks!

Corrosion or mineral buildup may be the cause of your problems. You may need to have the radiator rodded or replaced. In the future, only use a 50/50 mixture of Chrysler recommended antifreeze and distilled water. Most tap water has way too many minerals in it. This is a common problem on radiators today.
