I have an 1997 honda civic with an idle problem. Once the car warms up it has an erratic idle. It idles up and down. It doesn't do it when you are driving, only at idle. There are no codes stored in the computer.

. Check vacuum hose connections.
. Check/clean Idle Air Control Valve.
. Test/replace ignitor--AutoZone can do this for free.
