For the past few months I've encountered this problem, the car if left in the sun would start and die and after a few starts would go some distance and in the middle of the road would just freeze, and now the latest is it refused to start,so I changed the batteries,it starts fine, but again it stopped abruptly after going a couple of kms. What could be d problem? Starter ? Any help is appreciated.

Replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil, located inside the distributor. Apply silicone heat transfer compound to the back of the new ICM.
