If the knocking has stopped, then there's no need to retard the timing.
Hi,
Still the problem exits. I didn't retard the timing. It happens when driving up a hill. If I suddenly depress the accelerator. This sound comes with a little vibration.
Thank you.

Hi,
Now I have a doubt on this. Is engine knock comes with a vibration? It happens when more torque is needed.
Thank you for your help

Hi all thank you for reading,
How can I know the ignition timing is already retarded or not?
Do I need a timing torch?
