    Do you think that could have happened from my nephew hosing down the engine I didn't see him do it. But I know he unleashed th full fury of the water hose on the engine..

    How do I rplace/chck ignition switch.. by the way again, not even the headlights or domelight turns on

    When you have catastropic electrical failure, it has to be something pretty fundamental. You have already ruled out the battery, fuses, and grounds.

    Here's how you do it:

    1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
    2. Remove dashboard lower cover and knee bolster.
    3. Disconnect 5-P connector from under-dash fuse box and 7-P connector from main wire harness.
    4. Remove steering column covers.
    5. Insert key and turn it to "0".
    6. Remove two screws from switch and replace.

    Flow is Battery to Fuse No. 41 (80A Power Distribution) to Fuse No. 39 (50A Ignition Switch) to Ignition Switch to Underdash Fuse/Relay Box to Alternator (Voltage Regulator).
