'93 honda won't start no spark
I have a '93 honda accord lx. It was running fine all day yesterday and I went out to fire it up in the evening and it won't fire. The starter cranks fine and I don't think it's a fuel issue because I can smell the fuel when I've been trying to start it also if I spray some starting fluid in the air hose it makes no difference. I checked for spark at the plugs and got nothing or a barely visible spark. I'm trying to figure out what it could be since money is very very tight. I think it could be one of three things either the distibutor, ignitor, or the coil. I just have no way of testing things to see if that's it or not. Any help would be appreciated.

Replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil:

Check prices at RockAuto.com. The TEC coil at RockAuto.com is OEM for a fraction of the price of Honda's. If you have to choose between the ICM and the coil, I'd go with the ICM. Bench testing these components is next to useless. I recommend changing both of them every 120,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first.

Thanks txgreasemonkey I figured I would start with those two first since I can pick those up at any autozone for about 60 bucks a piece. I have to say you seem very knowledgeable. I've seen several of your posts and they've been a huge help for me to narrow down the possibilties.
