    Tattoo Photos anyone?
We all see posts about tattoos and piercings, but I'd like to see pictures of these tattoos and piercings. I've always been intrigued by body art but in the last year or so have finally gotten the courage to get things done. I got my nose pierced in July 2008, tattoo on my wrist in August last year and more recently gotten my monroe pierced. I'm wanting to get another tattoo of a dragonfly with some branches and flower blossoms next.

I just thought an online album would be fun.

And where are your pictures Marie hmmmmm..?

    Haha

I don't have any on my computer but I will post mine soon ;)
Just got 2 tattoos, no interesting piercings, just my ears.

    Darn I drew a dragonfly but I don't have a scanner.
I think a ivy vine type tattoo going from the toe across the top of the foot, around the ankle then spiraled once around the back of the calf would be a neat tattoo but I'm too chicken to even get a teeny spider tattoo.

My avatar is just a heart I liked.

This is sort of kind of close to the one I drew

Mine are at home. I'm not home right now, but I will post them later. Actually, NoHelp's avatar game me the idea to do this because I liked it. That's definitely something I would get.

Too funny that we're all waiting until we get home to post our pictures. Does that mean most of us are at work?

Yes, everyone is at work it seems like. Haha. I am at work right now anyway.

I want a tattoo but I am not sure of what to get. To complicating so I guess I will just stay plain.

You should just go into a shop and tell them to surprise you, see what you end up with. LOL.

Shaz, that was the one that I was originally looking for to post in here, but I found another huge flower on a girls rib cage so I thought I would post that one instead. I like the idea of more flowers but them being smaller. Stargazer lilies are my favorite but they'd have to be kind of big to show the detail. I got the idea for my dragonfly tattoo from a notepad that my sister-in-law gave me. I think I'd want to get it on my back, maybe between my shoulder blades.

Why does everything have to be so huge when I post it?

I noticed there seems to be a trend with tattoos like my one friend got his sons names tattooed on his neck then a year later everybody was walking around with their kids names tattooed on their necks. Then I noticed people with the back of their calf tattooed, then the top of their foot, and now I see everybody walking around with their last name tattooed across their upper back.

My husband and I got tattoos shortly after our wedding. No names, just initials. My wrist is the one with the "M" on it. My husband has the "L"

Ow! I had a J similar to that on my ankle. It is now covered by a Gerbera daisy with the world in the center. I let my artist do it freehand with no outline. It was gorgeous till I hopped in the saltwater. Now I need an ink refresher. 9 years later. Hehe. I ALWAYS wanted a giant side tattoo. Or the celtic tree of life symbol. Gorgeous!

that's perfectly fine and I take no offense at all ^_^

I've known for years that my screen name is rather masculine and have chosen to ignore it, and sometimes I even use it to my advantage. It's the Internet. I don't expect anyone to really know my gender unless I tell them. Besides, I'm not exactly a girly-girl ^_^

yep, the boobs are kind of a give away ^_~

rainbows are pretty. The reason the rainbow was chosen as a symbol of gay pride was to represent the diversity present in the gay community. Red (life), orange (healing), yellow (sunlight), green (nature), blue (magic), violet (serenity)

Cool, I didn't know what the colors represented.

    I wouldn't have guessed, shaz ^_~

I had to Google the meaning. I also found out that the original flag had 8 stripes, not 6. the pink stripe supposedly got omitted because they ran out of pink ink and the indigo stripe was omitted to make it an even number.

I have a blue rose on my foot and a butterfly between my shoulder blades, I am still trying to figure out what I want next. I have a nose piercing and tongue piercing, then 3 in one ear and 4 in the other. I think I am done with piercings, lol.

I know I said I was going to post pictures when I started this thread with my piercings, but to be honest, I can't get a very good picture where you can see them both. This is the best I come up with. I like them because they're fairly subtle.
