Hello,

My 11 month old baby boy has had a fine red rash on his cheeks that comes and goes. It seems to really flare up when he's hot, after he wakes up, and sometimes after a bath. I've had doctors tell me that it's dry skin, and another one said my child was allergic to something. It's been about 5 months since this rash comes and goes. Doctors seem to rule out fifths disease.
It's mainly on his face, but now it on his legs as tiny little while pimples. It' doesn't seem to bother him, but it bothers me because it looks as if he has a skin infection of some sorts. Can you give me any ideas as what I should do, I've already tried changing detergents although I stay with dreft now, changing his bath soap, and I don't know what other routes I should pursue.

My daughter has the same issue. It is mostly on her face. She is constantly scratching it... I feel so bad for her. She has little whiteheads in her little buttcrack now, too. I am thinking that it is eczema. We are trying this lotion called "Curell Itch Therapy". Google it. It is supposed to help with eczema. We will see...

I just saw how long ago this was posted... Lol.
