You're going to need to be more specific. I'm not sure whether "color oops" is a product or just a comment. If it's a stripping product, then yes, it's going to damage your hair. Keep in mind, though, that hair is already dead. The damage will grow out over time, and assuming you don't mistreat it, the new hair emerging from your scalp will be healthy.

Again, assuming "color oops" is a stripper (I googled it and found several pro and con descriptions), make sure you recolor with a good-quality coloring product. Ironically, in most instances, good hair coloring makes hair stronger and healthier-looking. Make sure you condition well after you remove your current color. There are some really good products that you leave on for a period (usually 15 to 30 minutes) then rinse or wash out. You might want to try one of those between the "oops" application and re-coloring.

I wanted to change my hair from a medium brown color to a burgundy color. I left the color in too long and it turned out to be a darker color then I wanted. I bought color oops extra strength and it rapidly stripped the burgundy out and turned it to a pretty blonde color. I shampooed and placed a deep oil conditioner on my hair with a bag for 30 minutes. The nutrients immediately returned and my natural colors were still in place... I am going to tell everybody on my Facebook page how GREAT Color Oops worked.
