    How to make Varsity?
I'm in 7th grade, and I'm 5 feet 4 inches. One of my friends who is shorter than me, and about the same skill as me, is on Varsity. I need some tips on how to make Varsity before the end of the season!

Why did you NOT "make" varsity? Poor skills, too short (apparently this is not the case), something else?

It would have been more forthright of you to post the entire situation so that I didn't waste my time on this - https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/basket...ml#post2977092

I think your other thread answered this question for you. If it's a question of not showing how well you play because you don't play well under pressure you're going to have to work on getting over that.

I wish schools would stop even having varsity teams before high school.
It's too soon to be competitive.
You don't say why you feel this need to have to make varsity before the end of the season. It's almost like it's just a prize, or something you want because friends got on it.
Once you make varsity, you don't rest on your laurels, you work even harder. Do you show that kind of dedication and eagerness? If not, that might be why.

I just really want to be on Varsity, longer season, more competition (I'm extremely competitive), just stuff like that!

You already know why you aren't playing varsity. Read your other thread again.

I think you should practice more. Remember, showboating isn't going to make you a varsity and a better player. Some coaches prefer better defensive player than offense. But I think you should try to observe more what your coach really wants. Try to communicate with your coach..
