    Bank account of my parent that died I was authorized to use. Am I still authorized ?
    Bank account of my parent that died I was authorized to use. Am I still authorized ? It was not a joint account but I was authorized to use it, now that she has died am I still authorized ?

    Where you authorized to use via Power of Attorney and did her will say you were the sole heir to her assets? That's the only way you would be authorized to use her account.

    HELLO Thanks for responding, I was autorized quite some time before her death and did make withdrals while she was alive

    Okay, how were you authorized and are you're the sole beneficiary now ? If you are the sole beneficiary I would present information to the bank so there can be no misunderstanding. Is there an executor of the will ?

    Yes a lawyer is the executor of the will. But I was not sure about accessing the money

    You will have to ask the executor of the will if you can access the money.
