    Hi I was wondering if anyone knew where to get a replacement capacitor labeled SK 4.5uF 270WV.AC SK Taiwan.

    You can also buy them at Baker Brothers Distributing Co. C.C. Dickson Co. and any appliance parts store. That's a run capacitor and it needs to be between 4-5 mfd and 270 volts or higher. You need to keep the capacitance of a run capacitor within 20% of the value of the original (For a start capacitor it's 10%. They are the round ones in hard black plastic.). You can go up, but not down, on the voltage because that is the break down limit of voltage it can handle. Higher is better.
