GE Washer makes load cluck noise
Hi, I have a GE washer making a load cluck noise when the spin cycle starts. I read some forum entries and thought it was the gearbox. That I replaced only to find the noise coming from the motor instead. It only happens when the motor turns slow for the first minute during the spin cycle. Otherwise it works fine. I uploaded a video of the noise in case it makes it easier to identify.

I know the motor probably needs to be replaced, but what is the cause for this noise?

    Thanks

That is odd behavior. I'd have to say that when the motor spins fast, it's going to fast to make the noise, but when slow, possibly some bearings or windings in the motor show their true colors. Yah, replace the motor.
