I have a kenmore washer dryer combo that will do everything up to the spin cycle and won't drain If it is a clogged drain filter how do I get at it. Is it underneath or is there some way I am supposed to take the front of the washer off to get at it.

You should be able to take off the front panel of washer to access the pump. Kenmore models however, can be made by anyone, Frigidaire, GE, Whirlpool, etc. so the precedure for the access panel can be different. Try a Putty Knife and slide under from of lid and try to pull the front panel off. Otherwise, look for screws on the bottom of the front panel. Take this off, tilt upwards and remove.
