    Alternative medicine
I suffer from sinus, allergies & migraines. I also want to start using a colol cleanser. I do take a woman multilpe vitamin already. I was wondering is there a vitamin that I can take for any of my conditions I listed.

For sinus you may try a daily nasal flush, available at most drug stores and even walmart.

If you are looking for alternative medicine it is best to visit an alternative medicine practitioner or therapist as there are some alternative medications which may worsen your condition.
Because of the possible interactions between herbs and certain conditions, it is wise to check with your doctor before adding herbs to your natural allergy treament program.
Please check the link to read the rest of the article as it is quite long and it has a list of alternative herbs that could be tried.

    What is an allergy?

An allergy is a catch-all word for a wide variety of reactions to substances that the body determines to be foreign. Anything that it does not recognize as itself can be considered an allergen. When the body encounters a foreign substance, it reacts by making antibodies or releasing certain chemicals called histamines. When histamines and other substances are released into the system, they cause an inflammatory reaction we call an allergy.
    What are the symptoms?

The inflammatory reaction affects the tissue and organs, mainly the skin, mucous membranes, lungs and gastrointestinal tract.

Symptoms commonly produced include itching and watery eyes, runny and congested nose and sinuses, sneezing, respiratory symptoms, headache, skin reactions and rapid heart beat. Other symptoms may include fatigue, intestinal gas or pain, abdominal bloating and mood changes.
    Primary external factors causing allergies

Natural environmental substances: Mold, spores, pollen from trees, flowers and grasses, dust (actually dust mites), animal hairs and insects are common substances that normally produce upper respiratory symptoms (allergies ) in sensitive individuals. These allergy producing substances may cause itching, redness and fluid (water & mucous) may affect the eyes, throat, nose, sinuses, bronchial tubes, and lungs.
Foods: Any food may be an allergen. The most common are wheat, milk, eggs, com, yeast coffee and chocolate. These may affect most body systems, with the gastrointestinal, nervous, respiratory and skin areas affected the most when allergies occur.
Chemicals: Both environmental chemicals and food additives can cause allergy reactions, such as pesticides, chemical sprays, hydrocarbons, and hundreds of others. Tobacco also contains many allergens.

I suffer from migraines and allergies as well. The one otc item I found that works on both is a nasal spray called "sinus buster". It's a tiny dose of pepper spray, and it works great on opening the blood vessels in the brain to ward off the migraine, and clears any sinus blockage.
It was discovered by a self-defense instructor who had a tension headache going into a class, and when he was shot in the face with the pepper spray, his headache was gone within minutes.
This stuff works miracles, it's homeopathic with no side effects. It does sting however, but a tiny sting is a lot better than a $1300 ER bill for the migraine. :)

There isn't really a vitamin that will help with sinus and allergy problems. You want to continue your daily multivitamin because the vitamins and minerals in general will support your immune system, which will help you deal with it easier. You may want to increase your Vitamin C and magnesium. You can do this just by drinking something like EmergenC.
    Magnesium helps with migraines.
You would need to do something for the allergies, which cause the sinus problems. There are homeopathics that can help with that. They are safe and easy to use.
Something like BHI allergy or Histamin would be a good choice.

There is a tea from South Africa called Rooibos, or Red Bush (most grocery stores carry it in bag-form now, at least). It's a natural anti-inflammatory, as well as a great antioxidant source. (As far as my research goes, this type of antioxidant can assist in a mild upswing of white blood cell counts to help boost your immune system; but I might be interpreting the informatin wrong.) It's helped my allergies immensly.
If, by "colol cleanser" you mean "colon cleanser," there are a few options. One small cup of coffee a day, or every other day, can help. A couple cups of black tea each day. There is also a product called Phosophosoda Fleet that my dad's doctor recommended to him just before he had a colonoscopy. (Just make sure you follow the directions CAREFULLY so you don't get dehydrated.)

A colon cleanser or detox might be good because it would clean out your system. Taking sinus, allergy and migraine meds only mask the symptoms rather than clear up the source. It is best to find out if your problem is caused by a food allergy or something in the air. Feverfew and white willow bark are good herbs for migraines.

These symptoms might be caused by environmental toxins. It sounds like you think so too because you mentioned a colon cleanse. Have you looked into any detox products? I take a natural detoxing mineral called zeolite. The product is called Natural Cellular Defense. There is also a liquid vitamin drink that is 98% bioavailable (unlike tablets or pills). Hope this helps.
