Hello:

I wrote the following rap lyrics for your voice mail. Do you think I can make it as a rap star? Yes, I'm white and old but...

Hello evabody, I'm sorry I'm not at home,
But you can leave a message at the sound of the tone,
Ya don't have to worry about what I'm going to do,
Cause when I get home, I'm going to,
Caaaall you.

Or better known as 50 million cent.

HAHAHAH nice try though good thing I didn't have any coffee in my mouth. I just tied to rap a good morning song (more like a get yer butt out of bed song) to my oldest kids and they won't even give me the time of day. My daughter had a smirk so at least she heard me, right?

Yes, being shot is very cool!
I want to hear a rap song about sweet love making, not F------. I wonder if there is one?

I highly doubt it in today's society. I don't even think they know what "love making" is because it's been replaced with all the F----ing, screwing, tapping.

Not good.
The best "love making" songs are the old ones, the ones before rap was even invented. :D

That was soooo stupid. Why would you write a song like that, I just don't know??
I really like some of the beats to the rap songs I could dance all night without the lyrics...

I completely agree! People are slowly starting to loose their class.

Rap beats are amazing, well some of them. Others can be annoying with the bird sounds and the cop sirens.
Haha.

I feel a sudden urge to beat box coming on.

startover22
Jun 4, 2007, 11:11 AM
OOOOHHHHHHH, I love beat boxing. We were watching American Idol, I can't believe we watched every show but my husband beat boxed every time and we all made fun of him.
I would much rather see some break dancing, that stuff is unbelievable!

Rockabilly1955mama
Jun 4, 2007, 11:13 AM
Goodness yes! Some of that break dacing is unbelievable!
I tend to say the "Oooh!", "ahh's!" a lot while watching that.

startover22
Jun 4, 2007, 11:16 AM
Same here. If my back ever gets any better, I want someone to teach me the basic moves... I know my kids and their friends would love it. Or they would just get embarrassed and go hide. But it will be fun either way!

I already know the spin and the worm!

Rockabilly1955mama
Jun 4, 2007, 11:17 AM
Startover, we need to make a beat boxing album. We will become famous!
:D

Jun 4, 2007, 11:20 AM
I am with you. I think many people on this site would be good additions. I have to say that I have always wanted to play in a band too, so if I could either be a professional lip syncer or the bass guitar or the harmonica, that would be my dream come true! Let's see what we can come up with. Anything goes!

Rockabilly1955mama
Jun 4, 2007, 11:23 AM
I'm oh so in!

We should beat box and get others to do ridiculous things in our little rap group. Such as the harmonica, banjo and operah singer.

Now, wouldn't that have a lovley sound to it!
:D

startover22
Jun 4, 2007, 11:25 AM
Yes, and I bet if we made a video we could make some serious "bank" I could do the ever so famous startover pelvic thrust, and with my smooth breakdancing skill added to that, whoa! We are going to be millionaires

Doot doot doot doot uh uh
Bad f------ day
Bad f------ day
Don't know why
This world makes me cry
Going crazy knowing the pain
Poor "little' souls are being slain
ripped of their happiness
with their presence I was blessed
trying to make sence
why I couldn't make it all past tence
it is happening today
no it won't just go away
poor little ones
I will miss them tons

I don't really want to sit and explain and usually I am more up beat. I will find a "new beginning" song to come after this one! Rockabilly, could you add a harmonica and a trombone to this one. It is a sad day for 3 little foster boys! I love them and will worry until they are settled! Poor babies

I tried to write another ditty but it was soooo corny I erased it. Hope all is well things are better! We can bring back the happy music. Add a little funk Rockabilly. Fitty you are a stud rapper, let's keep them coming!

We have got this sooooo down!

We just need a record lable and Yankavitch(?) to co star in one of our songs.
A duet about goldfish.

:D

startover22
Jun 6, 2007, 11:31 AM
Ohhhh goldfish that could go many different ways. Let me think! Rockabilly, you are too silly! I am happy for that. Today is a better day. I know I know they always get better.
Ok back to the Yankovich thing, he would be a good start, but I want it to get serious after that, I am THE BEST LIP SYNCER IN THIS UNIVERSE< you can ask my whole family and all of my friends... I can make some money, I know I could be just like Millie Vanillie!

EDIT::::::::
This is going to sound really dumb and I don't know if this is a bad sign, but my guppie and my goldfish, well my son just found them sucked up into the filter thingy. I think we may need a new song... or maybe this will bring more feeling to it? I am trying not to laugh here but I don't think I can stop...

Uh uh
What a day
What a day
Stand up
Stand up
Everybody just clap yer hands
Just clap yer hands
Uh uh
Got 6 kids down
Feeling a little free
Going to drink more coffee
Nothing getting to me
I love those boys
Glad to hear their voice
Cleaning up the dirt
Wipin away the hurt
Uh uh
Come on now
Uh uh

That's all for now, everything is going really good for the boys, I am going to keep them safe till their mama steps up! See you... Start

Jul 6, 2008, 01:44 PM
I just have to say
When I re read this today
It brought a smile to my face
I felt in place
I know this threads really old
But I checked and it wasn't growing mold
So Uh Uh
To all of you out there
Give it a tear
I want to hear what you got
Even if its not a lot!

Excon, I was looking through and found this, this was a fun thread. You are a funny talented guy. I haven't ever stopped rapping to my kids and sometimes to my co workers. Sometimes just changing words to explain my daily life in familiar song can bring a few laughs. :) Thanks
