I have to see this movie again- it's haunting me! I saw it as a kid and all I can remember is some women and girls decided to get rid of this man who was causing problems by serving him some poisonous mushrooms. I think it was made in the 60's or seventies. Ring a bell?

You're thinking of "Practical Magic" but in that movie they gave him an herb which was supposed to put him to sleep had Sally (Sandra Bullock) not overdosed him. And "Practical Magic" was made in 1998 the poster is looking for a movie from the 60's or 70's.
