Eventually you realize that you are dealing with things a little better than before. That could mean you can think better, sleep better, eat better, talk about it more, talk about it less... it means different things to different people. Just pay attention to your body and keep looking after you.

Yeah, Em, I am doing much better today. Funeral arrangements are made, really nothing left to do until family starts arriving.

With my father-in-law's funeral, it was the family that made my husband crazy. They think they are helping, but only stir up trouble instead.

That's why the visitation is Sunday night and the funeral is Monday morning and we asked that family not come in until Saturday night or Sunday morning. I want to give Mom some time to adjust.

I took my morning walk at our city park which has a carnival camped at its outskirts. I couldn't help but notice that one of the food stands had a large sign for "Fried Oreos."

Fried Oreos? What's next? How about "Fat injected directly into your thighs!"

Emland... I was at a festival last weekend and they were selling fried twinkies and oreos. I could not believe it!
