You need to get to a better weight for yourself, not for a guy. Getting your weight under control will improve your confidence which in turn will make you attractive to the opposite sex in more ways than one.
MyPyramid.gov - United States Department of Agriculture - Home (http://www.mypyramid.gov/)
This site will help you with your diet. Increase your activity level - start jogging, dancing, cycling or swimming. Anything to increase your heart rate about 15 to 30 minutes per day to start. Aim to lose about 1 to 2 pounds a week. Good Luck!

Emland is exactly right. Forget about losing weight for any guy. Do it because you will feel healthy, and more beautiful. Do it for yourself. It is so true that guys are attracted to confidence, and when you feel better about yourself, you will exude confidence. To loose the weight, my advice, is to start with your brain... (this is what I have to do). Figure out what hole you are trying to fill in your life, with food. Find fulfillment in something other than food. Art, dancing, exercising, etc... Start slow and steady, drink lots of water, no soda, diet soda, careful with the juice. And make yourself a food journal. Good luck. And remember, it's not a diet (those are temporary), it is a lifestyle change. Blessings.

Eat smaller portions, of healthy, natural foods, no processed, sugary cakes, candy, soda, high salt like chips. Whole grains breads, cereals, cereals and pastas, lots of fruits and veggies, legumes Bake or broil in olive or canola oil, leaner cuts of meats, like skinless chicken, turkey breast, fish, loin type meats. Snack on small portions of seeds and nuts. Drinks lots of water especially before meals. Look at nutritional labels and stick to one portion sizes, meat should be 2-3 oz for instance. And exercise, 3-4 times a week 30 minutes at least, aerobics, walking, jogging, biking resistance training but move that body.
