I have just come across a website in the UK called Debt Catchers (http://www.debtcatchers.com) that allows people to pass on information about people who have disappeared or moved home without paying their bills! Is this legal ?

My friends have been telling me I should put my ex's details on there but I don't no if I should. She has run off leaving me with lots of debts but also had many debts that she was avoiding.

If her debts do not involve you and yet you are being stuck with them, then why not list her name? Why are you being stuck with her debts, if they are only her debts? Have you talked to your legal counsel about this? I know what you are going through - my ex never paid his bills either.

What can it hurt to put your ex's details to that site?
