Open up the phone book, start down the yellow pages under insuance agents or companies, call the ones that advertise business insurance and bonds.

I will ask, is the bonding for the employees you are hiring to protect you for money they are handing for you? Has one of your clients asked for your employees to be bonded?

Thanks for the suggestion! My friends are starting their own houselceaning business and need to be bonded and insured as they will be going into people's homes, sometimes when they are not there to clean.

You are in need of a fidelity bond, a janitorial bond to be exact. They are relatively inexpensive and as suggested above the premium will be based on how many employees you have and how large the bond is.

You may find the article business bonding (http://www.jwsuretybonds.com/blog/business-bonding) helpful to get a better idea of what you are purchasing.

Good luck!
