View Full Version : Trump Now Changing His "Disinfectant Ingestion" Comment

In a move bizarre even for Trump, he has now claimed his comments about disinfectants were made "sarcastically" to confound the reporters in the room.

All the world saw on video his statements, and there was not a thing sarcastic about them. They were directed at the doctors and never at the reporters.

This was so bad that he has been forced to drop the afternoon conferences altogether, blaming the reporters for "fake news". His last conference was a goodbye lasting minutes with the two doctors notably absent.

To see Trump in such a blatant outright lie denying what he said on camera will be thought-provoking for his followers.

How do you provoke the thoughts of those who do not think

Dufus supporters will always accept anything he says whether they believe it or not. They always will, while making whatever excuse and they can always blame the fake news media for misquoting him. Anything that stops those silly pressers he ruins primetime with though, is a good thing.

It is all just theatre instead of making the apprentice he is making daily editions of "the President today"

"
in light of today's statements I can no longer defend his comments . Also it is wise that they are pulling him back from the daily briefing . "

But that is only because Trump doesn't understand the facts about the medicines and should not speak to them ,
Trump should admit it was a poor choice of words and that he doesn’t want anybody to even think about ingesting or injecting it

As Athos said -- and I totally agree with him because I watched Trump's pressers on TV each evening when he held them:

"All the world saw on video his statements, and there was not a thing sarcastic about them. They were directed at the doctors and never at the reporters."

He even turned and looked around behind him at the doctors as he was talking.

So he was giving the doctors a razz, perhaps suggesting their efforts were no better than injecting fish tank cleaner

Good for you.

But that is only because Trump doesn't understand the facts about the medicines and should not speak to them

Are you seriously maintaining that the President of the United States doesn't understand the facts about ingesting disinfectant because it will probably kill you? Like it's already done?

Trump should admit it was a poor choice of words and that he doesn’t want anybody to even think about ingesting or injecting it

Trump is not able to admit wrong. He is seriously psychologically or mentally (pick your term) disabled as witnessed (once again) by his pathetically lame statement that he was really being sarcastic to confront the reporters. Even his inner circle shuddered at that one and was the immediate cause of his daily briefings being cancelled.

I told you many times he was a dufus, but what kind of fellow uses his access to the public to razz, harangue, and joust with reporters during a presser to inform a public scared crapless about this virus and suffering from economic and health insecurities? Goes to character, and that's what makes the dufus words and antics dangerous as a charitable assessment.

Consider also the reports of calls to poison control in regard to those rantings. Somebody was listening, and thankfully decided to verify it's veracity before doing something dangerous and stupid. Fact is claims of sarcasm are a LIE, and we know it, and so do his most ardent supporters.
