I am afraid I don't understand your question/statement?

What model disposal do you have (should say on it)?

Does your disposal turn on VIA a switch on the wall or is this a batch feed disposal that turns on when you insert the stopper?

Could be an air switch that controls a small box plugged into the wall and into which the disposal plugs. I had one where the tube split and wouldn't shut off the disposal.
