How do you vent a shower if it is in your basement and the plumbing runs in the cement floor?

If the plumbing was already installed, there should have been a vent line. Is this a gravity drain or to an ejector pit? If you are adding after the fact, you will need to determine where you can connect to a vent or possibly use an AAV if allowed in your location.

Hi Buttons

It's possible that the shower vents through the bathroom toilet or sink vent... ;)

Exactly why are you asking... are you having a problem?

Why do you think that your shower is unvented? Do you hear any gurgles when anything is drained or flushed? Is the shower in a bathroom group? Is this a new installation? Can you give me more details? Back to you, Tom
