My boyfriend and I are in our 20's and yesterday we had sex and the condom slipped off him and the opening of the condom was still outside my vagina mind you I was using the Today's Sponge. I am worried so I went to the pharmacy but I was told I needed a prescription from my doctor since my health insurance covers it. I don't know if I will have time to go to the doctor tomorrow because I work. So what should I do? I asked my friends and they say I have nothing to worry about and another says to take Plan B

Do you want to possibly raise a child?
Get the prescription.
If the odds are 99.9% to .1, do you feel like taking the chance?

Stop asking your friends... they don't know any more than you do.
You had sex... it doesn't matter what protection you used... pregnancy is a possibility.
You (as in both of you) screwed up using protection so your odds are much greater.
Nobody can give you statistics because we weren't there. But the fact remains... 1 in a Million odds are no comfort to that one person. Your odds are far more likely than that.

If you don't want the possibility of raising a child, I would take time off work to go to the Dr. to get the prescription. And while you are there maybe ask about birth control just in case something like this were to happen again. Best of luck to you!
