My fiancé and I are getting married in about a year. We were wondering if it was possible for him to be able to adopt my 6 year old daughter with him having a felon and being convicted of child endangerment over eight years ago. I know that I would have to get my child's biological father to consent which I know he will. I just want to know if this is just wishful thinking. We live in Florida and the biological father lives in Connecticut if that is information needed.

Is it possible, given the set of facts you just gave me? Yes.
Is it advisable according to those facts? I'd say no.
And as always it is within the magistrate/judge's discretion.

A court will want to do a background check and family analysis before agreeing to an adoption. I would be surprised if a court agreed to this but stranger things have happened.
A local lawyer will be able to give you a better opinion.

A court will want to do a background check and family analysis before agreeing to an adoption. ....
If you mean a home investigation, possibly, but it's not required:
"63.125 Final home investigation.—
(1) The final home investigation must be conducted before the adoption becomes final. The investigation may be conducted by a licensed child-placing agency or a professional in the same manner as provided in s. 63.092 to ascertain whether the adoptive home is a suitable home for the minor and whether the proposed adoption is in the best interest of the minor. Unless directed by the court, an investigation and recommendation are not required if the petitioner is a stepparent ..." 63.125 - - 2012 Florida Statutes - The Florida Senate (http://www.flsenate.gov/Laws/Statutes/2012/63.125)
A step-father is not disqualified from adoption by virtue of being a convicted felon.
