I have black hair. I dyed my hair like a million times.. Now I got my hair all black again but it seems so boring now that spring and summer is just around the corner.. I tried dying my hair using a revlon haircolor (medium blonde) it didn't work :( it only worked on my roots.. What's wrong with my hair? Is it really this damaged? If I use a color remover, will I get a good result if I color my hair lifter again? Help me please!! I'm desperate :(

You really should go to a hairdresser. Your hair may need to be stripped, and then I'd let it be for a while, otherwise coloring it again so soon will really damage it.
Black is almost impossible to color over. You need a professional to help you with this.
Good luck.

When they strip it ask to have a deep conditioning done. That will help a bit. Sadly, when you overcolor it does damage your hair. The major issue is that it dries out your hair, which actually makes it less able to accept new color. Black is a harsh color, and because of the treatment to get it that color, and the color itself, it's impossible to cover over with a new color. Red hair dye is the same, it's very hard to cover.
A good hairdresser will ask that you wait for a few weeks before attempting to recolor your hair after it's stripped of the color you have now. The stripping will damage it, but it's really the only way to get the color out right now. You won't be able to cover it as is, and it will just damage it further.
Give your hair a bit of a break from coloring and it should be back to it's former health in no time at all. :)
