I've never used one of these forums but I am having a difficult time remembering the title of a movie that I saw a long time ago and really want to see again.

From what I can remember, a daughter had been kidnapped from a ballet recital. Soon after the recital was over the mother (who I think may have been Julianne Moore?) realized that her daughter was missing. The mother along with police and other adults went searching in the woods and all they found was her pink tutu. I believe somehow the mother began a frantic search for her missing child and ended up finding the individual who took her. I remember her vaguely escaping from this man through a basement window. The movie ended with the mother on top of a bridge and jumped into the water to her death. The movie went to credits after she appeared "swimming" with her dead daughter which symbolized that her daughter had actually died?

If any of that makes sense and someone can recognize what movie that is out of the vague information I gave that would be much appreciated.

Not an exact match, but your description keeps bringing me to a movie called In Dreams. The main characters daughter was kidnapped from a play, they find her costume(fairy wings I think?) in the woods... thought I would suggest it, its worth a shot.
