A former friend of mine turned out to be too much for me, so I ended our friendship. Our friendship was like we were in a relationship, even though she is a homophobe. So I "broke up" with her in early September (It's just easier to refer to her as an ex). In that month, she created a fake fb profile and added me and messaged me a bunch of times. Didn't know it was her, but once I figured out it was her, I blocked her. She's used multiple numbers to reach me, since I won’t answer her phone calls or texts, and has shown up at my house too. She's also been emailing me too, since I won’t answer her calls, whether it is her number, or "private numbers" or numbers I don't recognize. She even followed me to work because she wanted her stuff back, which I shipped to her because I don't want to see her again. She said that after she got her stuff back, she would leave me alone, and she did, for a few weeks. But then she started texting, calling, and emailing me again. I don't reply.
Today though, things got worse. I was at work (I work at my university) and she found my car, and texted me, commenting on some of the stuff I had in my car and that I should go check my car. I got really worried for my car, so I told my supervisor, and she called the campus police for me. An officer came to escort me to my car, and I found that she posted a message with sticky notes - "I C U" (I see you). The officer called her and told her to stop contacting me, and she said she would. But she said that when I shipped her stuff to her, and she still bothered me. I am doubtful that she will stop, even after the cop told her to. I want a restraining order, but do not want to waste time in court over her. It'd be nice to have one, but not if I have to spend extra time and effort that could be used towards my education. I'm just hoping for some advice, if that's not too much to ask. Thanks in advance!
Any info I might have missed: she's Chinese, like me, on academic probation, only child - parents too busy for her, she goes to my university, is probably worse with her boyfriend than she is with me.
