Okay so I got a possession of chemicals for the manufacture of methamphetamine. I got a felony or the 3rd degree, I talked to my probation officer and he said 3 years after I get off probation I can get it expunged. But I want to know what I can still go to college for. I'm 19 years old and I wanted to go to college for nursing but with a drug charge I highly doubt that they will let someone with a drug charge anywhere in the medical field only because I will will be working with drugs. Even if it is expunged that type of work they can still see that

You are correct. You cannot work in the medical field with ANY felony, much less a drug charge. What else interests you? It's possible you could get into drug counseling.

Many areas that take professional licensing will be out of the question, A few may allow a wavior, Insurance and Real Estate for example have restrictions but accept waivers on a case by case basis.

You need to talk to an academic advisor. I work at woman drug and alcohol rehabilitation center I know for a fact in Ohio someone who has heroine charges and she is able to keep her LPN license with her therapist and case worker letters she keeps the license for 3 years if she stays clean she can work but not pass narcotics
