So me and my girlfriend have been together for about 6 years and needless to say we have hit some rough patches. Just recently (within the past few months) she has been trying to have more of a social life which is fine with me, she is a stay at home mom with our 2 year old and a 10 month old so I can totally understand her wanting to get out and have fun. The problem lies in a friend she met on Facebook, it's only been like 2 or 3 months since she started to talk to him but it escalated from FB messages to texts and phone calls which still didn't bug me too much but now she is saying that she needs to meet the guy.
He lives in California and us in Colorado he is out in Wyoming and my GF wants to meet up with him out there. She has told me that she still loves me and is still in love with me and wouldn't leave me, now to go off topic a little I have been a little more clingy lately due to the situation at hand and I don't know if it making anything worse or better but I am working on giving her space but it's difficult because of her admitting to liking this guy.
Anyway back to the main subject I would really rather not let her go see said guy but I also don't want it to turn into one of those what if things that won't leave her head and also turn into resentment because I would not let her go. I'm very confused and I love her to death, there is nothing I wouldn't do for her but this is a strange situation.
Any advice is more than appreciated and hopefully helpful. Sorry for my poor spelling and grammar but thanks for reading and answers if you have some.
