My bathroom faucet started leaking. Just a little at first, now I can't stop it. I've gone under the sink and cut the water off to the faucet, yet it is still running full force. Any ideas on how to fix it?

More details please! One handle or two knobs? What's the brand name? Did you shut off both the hot and cold water in the cabinet? Back to you, Tom

I have no idea of the brand name, but there are 2 knobs and I have cut them both off. Now I have water all over the bathroom counter and running under the sink as well. I don't have the best landlord and I'm just trying to find out what needs to be done if the landlord can't/won't fix it.

The landlord has to provide a livable place, If left alone mold will start to grow, This should not be your problem. If the landlord drags his feet then threaten to call the Health Department and complain. Please keep me informed of any further developments. Tom

He came out and looked at everything. He's agreed to have the faucet replaced and the bad valve under the sink. However, I asked him about the rotten floor to the cabinet and all he offered to do is put a piece of plankboard over it. But this is also the landlord that told us the mice infestation was not his problem and told us to get some Decon. I also had to buy fire ant killer to get rid if the 15 mounds in the yard, one of which attacked my 2 year old. I've called the health department and the building inspector and nothing has happened. Luckily, we are trying to move, so we won't be there much longer.
