I live in an old farmhose that is insulated well but we have a lot of windows and when the wind blows hard and cold from the North, my furnace runs more than normal. My goodman furnace starts the exhaust fan, lights and runs just fine. The burner will stay lit for 2 or 3 minutes then shuts off with the exhaust blower still running then relights like it should. It does this approximately 3 times then the whole furnace will shut down. The LED lights will start flashing 2 then 5 for a total of 7 flashes. What could this mean? I am going to pull the door off later today to see if I can find the answer but all the help before tearing it apart would be helpful.

Does the blower run? Sounds like it may have a problem with the blower, and the unit is shutting off on high-temp.

Have you checked your filter? Does sound like a high limit issue, but could be a dirtly flame senser issue also. Check the filter and let us know what you find.
