I am a mother of two, at the moment I have a friend of my sons staying in our house, she is one of my sons school friends and has been since they were at Junior school, when she first started staying here three months ago it was due to her and her parents falling out, I thought it was the usuall arguments that happen between parents and young adults, as time went on I could tell that there was so much more to it that than just that, I realised that this child was never going to be allowed to go home no matter what she did, this is not a bad kid at all, anyway now she has been with me for 3 months, her parents are claiming child tax credits and child benefits for her and they are keeping all of this money, poor kid has to ask me for tampax ! How do I get some money for this child,

You would have to make things official through the courts. As of right now you could be in deep legal trouble very quickly. You have no rights to this child and what your doing is only good will at this point until a court says different. Your in a legal black hole. Has CPS (Child Protective Services) been called?
