Hi my hair is originally dark brown, I had been putting in permanent black for a couple of years, then about a year ago I decided I want the black out so went to the hairdressers and had my hair stripped and ah permnant red dye put through since then I've been using a red permanent dye home kit. Finding it so hard to keep up the red and its completley ruined my hair, I'm now wanting to go back to my original brown colour with some blonde low lights, does anyone have any suggestions how I do this? Thanks

you Should put a light brown blondish hairdye on top of then then brown so when the brown wash's out alil your highlights will come in =]... I have red hair to and I no it's a nervouse breakdown keeping up with the roots but I found this hairdye its from loreal it says "for dark hair" on the box and it makes the roots cherry red without bleaching it and I been red for almost a year now its bright red no orange no blonde patches just some pinkish and darker red undertones so if u change your mind go to sallys buy that and buy 20 devolper =D.
