Hello.
4 days ago, I died my hair from dark brown to black using clairols' natural instincts it turns out it is Demi-permanent color. It said that it would go out after 28 washes, but it is CHARCOL black I want it out now!:(
I am new to coloring my hair, and I want to know the healthiest way to remove it without going to a salon.
I have called all the local drug stores and none have this prell shampoo.
I feel uncomfortable about using dishwater detergent, bleach or clothing detergent, because I just want it to go to dark brown, not any lighter.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Anybody? I'm desperate!

Don't panic! You should be able to get a hair-dye remover from any major drugstore.
It doesn't have to be for the same brand - just check that it removes semi-permanent dyes.

Demi permanent hair color is similar to semi-permanent hair color, however, it produces longer lasting effect. It last 26 shampoos to 28 shampoos, but if your hair is porous, it may leave a permanent tint on your hair until it grows outs. You can go to the beauty supply store and get a hair color remover to strip away the demi-permanent color, then you can re-color your hair to it's original color.

Don't use the hair striper because most likely it will turn brassy. I did the same thing to my hair and the best way to fade the color is buy using clairifying shampoo's and anti dangref. Also, use hot oil treatments, without heating them.

Hi,
All you have to do is go to CVS, or what ever drug store you use.
And pick a couple up.
Instead of heating them up like you would normaly do, leave it cold
It'll get the color out:]
