Hi, DSS filed an order in August to cease by obligation to pay child support. My account has a surplus of $1800.00 and they sent it to my ex-wife. That amount was owed to me, was it not? Thanks.

If it, in fact, is an overpayment, yes, it's your money.

DSS may help you to get the refund OR you may have to take your ex to Small Claims Court.
