This is so confusing and it is killing me with having to wait. I want to know if anyone else has had something like this happen to them, or heard of it.

I had a period from what I know on October 1st (3days long and normal)
I had a feeling to test and I did on October 14th and it came back with a faint line, but it was visible as positive. I did a digital one and it said "PREGNANT". I did about 6 other first response tests and all showed a faint line.

I went to doctors and their test came back negative. They sent me in for blood work and ultrasound. Ultrasound showed a healthy uterus and ovaries and no sign of miscarriage or pregnancy.
Blood test came back with 9 ml of HCG. (Which is higher than my last blood test in September with only 2 ml of HCG) So the doctor is having me do another blood test tomorrow to see if there is an increase in HCG.
Do you think it is possible that I am picking up HCG this early on pregnancy tests (at home) and be pregnant or do you think this is just left overs of a miscarriage October 1st? Even the ultrasound shows no miscarriage but maybe my body cleared it out in the last 2 1/2 weeks?

Or could I be EARLY pregnant and the early response it really picking up that 9 ml of HCG?

Hi proudmommy618... :)

I can understand the confusion! It may be you are pregnant and it is just too early (I am guessing the ultrasound was transvaginal?) It may be you did have a very early miscarriage. If numbers increase, they will do another scan and check again for location to rule out an ectopic pregnancy.
Rarely hcg can be picked up for other reasons.
