Just recently, my Noma 1600 light swithc/timer started becoming temperamental. It shut off on its own & eventual the display lights went off. I switched the battery and the display is back on but I cannot switch my lights back with it anymore? What could have happened? I do not use the timer modes, but just use on off. Any ideas?

Some of those won't work without a load, be sure any pull chain or switch is on.
