If a person is in jail in another state will a Writ of Bodily Attachment from Florida show up on the NCIC report as a hold?

Yes, it will appear on the NCIC report. Bench warrants are criminal warrants; bodily attachment warrants are issued on civil matters.

Thank you... so would the Writ show as a hold on an NCIC report and prevent someone from being released from jail in another state?

That depends on the state. I've known people to be picked up and jailed for over a week just for owing someone money pending arraignment before trial.

What states would be involved? In the interest of better information allowing better answers.

YES, as I said - it WILL show up on NCIC. The terminology varies a little, State to State.

NCIC is Federal and does not change.

The jail in Tennessee may already know of this Writ and have already notified Florida so when he's done in jail in Tennessee Florida just might come and get him to take him back to Florida. DEpends on how badly they want him as it costs plenty to transfer prisoners and Florida might not want to spend the money on him.

That's what I am hoping

You know it still shows up on NCIC - which is your question.
