I took plan be on march 28 that's 2 days after the unprotected sex witch is within the 24 hrs.
My period was suppose to come the 15 of April and today is the April 24.
I keep getting cramps like if its going to come but nothing

A late period is not uncommon after using plan b. every woman's body is different so how late varies for every woman. However, since plan b is not 100% effective and you are late, now would be a good time to start taking pregnancy tests. I would take one tomorrow using first morning urine. If it's negative, wait a week or so and if still no period, test again.


I'm also not clear on your time frame. You say you took plan be 2 days after unprotected sex. But within 24 hours? Plan be has shown to be effective within the first 72 hours after unprotected sex. But it is most effective the sooner it is taken.

I took plan b 2 days after the unprotected sex, I took it sooner then 72 hrs as the plan be is suppose to be used, of course the sooner the better. I'm afraid it didn't work my period has been late more then a week and I have had a period like cramping since my expected period witch was suppose to come the 15 of march and no period. I guess I have no option then to take a pregnancy test and hope its negative... thanks for your help
