Son not married to the mother but he pays child support I don't think that the boy is my son's child . But she just told him he need to legitimize the child . I am hoping that there has to be a DNA on this child so we will know before my son goes through with this .can you please tell me in GA does the DNA have to be done first .

There are two ways in that case
1.Your son may sign an Acknowledgment of paternity without DNA test
2.Your son may insist on private or court ordered DNA test.

Is the support being paid by court order? Generally, before support will be ordered a determination of legal paternity would be established.
