View Full Version : 96 accord 2dr won't start

I have a 96 accord 2dr 2.2 lt automatic. When it rains the car won't start. I did a complete tune up and still nothing. Now its cold out after rain and 40-50 degree temps yesterday, snow and 20s today and still nothing. The car turns over fine just won't start.

Typically, if the Check Engine Light comes on for 2 seconds and then goes out, when the ignition switch is turned to ON (Position II), then replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil:

How do I get the codes if the check engine light is on? Also what is the big difference between 2 and 4 dr accords? When I look up parts it calls for different parts on the two even if they have the same engine.

Be sure to perform the K-Test, since your ECM (computer) may be bad.
