I am a Natural blonde and I'm over it! My problem is that I have VERY light blonde eyebrows, I want to go a light brown but enough for me to be called a brunette. Any advise?

My hair was last dyed in January and it has never been permed etc. I will get it done at a salon but I'm worried that I may not like it... HELP!

Honestly, I really think you should leave it blonde. I am a brunette, who highlights her hair to blonde, and I think that it is high maintenance. I wish I had blonde hair...

I think that if any thing that you should start with some low lights to make sure you will be happy with it.

I am very glad to hear you will be going to a salon! Start small. Try darker lowlights first. If you like them, get more and/or darker ones next visit, and so on. (If you aren't keen on them, they are easy to highlight back out on your next visit). If your hair color begins to get a little dark for your eyebrows, ask your stylist if they will color your eyebrows for you, too. General rule of thumb is that your eyebrows should be a little (approx 2 shades) darker than your hair if you are light blonde, and lighter than your hair if you are a dark brown. If you are uncomfortable using hair color on your eyebrows, you can try using a mascara, eyebrow pencil, or eyebrow powder to darken your eyebrows when you apply the rest of your makeup.
